Journalism investigations on financial crimes opened new frontiers to the world of information. International teams involving hundreds of reporters and hackers analyse millions of confidential files, unveiling secrets about businessmen, politicians, prominent citizens in dozens of countries. That’s what happened with the massive investigation on the Panama Papers, for which the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism was awarded the Pulitzer Price. The workshop will be held by one of the reporters who took part in that inquiry, Paolo Biondani (L’Espresso). Together with Angelo Mincuzzi, Sole 24 ORE journalist and author of ‘La cassaforte degli evasori’ (The tax evaders’ safe), he will discuss on this new form of journalism, without hiding its limits and problems.
