And the radio plays. Giornalismo radiofonico a prova di bambino
The DIG Festival hosts a child-proof radio journalism lab: a fast-track course for aspiring reporters who long for the secrets to a great radio interview. Like in any respectable newsroom, in a first stage we will gather together to discuss the topics and the questions to pose. In a second stage, the young reporters will be split into groups of five and, provided with a recorder, will be guided around piazzale Ceccarini to interview tourists and citizens. While juggling bystanders’ offhanded answers, the children will conduct a survey on lifestyles and gastronomic preferences. Once a certain amount of answers is collected, they will return to piazzale Ceccarini where they will listen to the recordings at Riccione Web Radio mobile broadcasting station, which was set-up by some young locals. Together with a radio technician they will choose the best answers and will take part in the montage of an authentic radio column.
