The final day of the DIG Festival proposes an alternative brunch dedicated to digital activism and the most modern investigative journalism. Journalists and citizens will be given the opportunity to discuss with world-renowned reporters and experts in digital technologies, in a workshop dedicated to the trends which have revolutionised the way of creating information. Online sources, world-wide leaks, safe platforms for whistleblowing and cryptography have opened unexplored frontiers for those who fight for freedom of expression and democracy. However, between censorships surveillance, digital intrusions and attempts of manipulation, even the web exposes us to risks worth considering.
